Card Payment Gateway is the payment service for merchant to accept online cards payment via Internet. The payment service is known as Maybank eBPG (eCommerce Bank Payment Gateway). This service is hosted at Maybank and has a built-in interface to integrate with merchant’s website and store front server to enable online card payment under a 3D-Secure protocol.
Maybank eBPG is a real-time transaction processing system that functions as a payment gateway switch using a secure transaction server on the Internet. Merchants with a valid merchant account can use the system to submit, authorize and capture card transactions.
There are two main interfaces in Maybank eBPG to complete ecommerce authorization system, namely the Payment Gateway CheckOut Window and Merchant Administration Interface.
The Checkout Window is the interface for processing transaction in eBPG Payment Window integration. Merchant Administration web access is the front-end Graphical User Interface (GUI) application that enable Merchant to manage eBPG ecommerce transactions.
Merchant needs to submit application online attached with the required documents. Once application is processed and approved, we shall furnish you with a letter of offer to sign. Upon receiving complete documentation, we will contact you to arrange for website integration.
Cards Payment Gateway accepts VISA, Mastercard and American Express Cards.
The Merchant Rate, setup fee (if applicable) and annual maintenance fee (if applicable) will be provided in the Letter of Offer upon application approved.
Yes, a testing is required once the integration process is completed. This test will take about three (3) days and you may extend the testing date provided you have obtained confirmation from the bank. You are given six (6) months to complete the integration and testing with Maybank eBPG, failing which the offer will lapse.
Once the testing is successful, you can request to be in the live environment. You are required to notify the bank 3 (three) days in advance.
For all settled transactions, your funds will be deposited into your current account on the next business day.

A point-of-sale (POS) terminal is an electronic device used to process cards payment at retail locations. A POS terminal generally does the following: Reads the information of a customer’s cards; Checks whether the funds in a customer’s bank account are sufficient; Transfers the funds from the customer’s account to the seller’s account (or at least, accounts for the transfer with the cards network); Records the transaction and prints receipt.

Maybank mPOS is a portable payment device provided to aid Maybank merchants in accepting card payments anytime, anywhere. It accepts all charge, credit and debit card payments by leveraging on smartphone technology to enhance your retail experience.
It works in a similar way to a normal EDC credit card terminal.

Connect the mPOS card reader to your smartphone via Bluetooth.

Enter the amount and insert the customer's card into the mPOS card reader to be charged.

Customer keys in his/her PIN onto the mPOS card reader to authorize the payment. An e-receipt will then be issued via email and SMS.

Maybank QRPayBiz is a cashless payment solution that enables you to receive payments from Maybank2u customers using a unique two-dimensional quick-response (QR) code.
You are required to download Maybank QRPayBiz Mobile Application to generate the QR code.
You must be at least 18 years old and operate a legal business to use Maybank QRPayBiz. You need not be a Maybank account holder to register for this service. Nevertheless, it is highly advisable for you to open a Maybank account for better experience and smoother process when using this service.

You can prevent others from using your QRPayBiz by following these simple guidelines:
Any settlement of discrepancies shall be between you and your customer. Both parties are allowed to make settlements based on arrangement as deemed fit, appropriate and agreed by both parties. Maybank will not support any instructions by either parties to revoke or refund QR Payments that has been successfully transferred.
Once your customer scanned your code, you will receive a push notification on the successful status of payment. You will also see an acknowledgement page regarding the success of the payments. Alternatively, you may check the transaction history for successful of payments made, or click on ‘MANUAL CHECK’ on the top right corner to check payment status.
Please check that the sold item has reflected in your transaction history or request the buyer to show his/her payment status page to you.

Maybank may offer customers a promo code from time to time. This is known as ‘on-us’ promotion. Customers can apply this promo code when purchasing your product. Hence, when an on-us promo code is in used, you will receive the full payment in two phases. The amount after discount will be credited instantly, while the remaining amount will be credited within 24 hours.
An online bill payment facility that lets you customers to settle bills by debiting their Maybank savings/current account or credit card.
When you make payments through our Online Bill Payment service, you need to enter the account or reference number pertaining to your bill. "Update Payee Account List" allows you to register/delete up to 10 of your favourite payee organisations in Malaysia so that you do not have to enter the account details each time you make a payment.

There is a 50sen charge for each successful transaction to selected payee corporations. Customer will be notified when a payment is made to any of these corporations and the amount will be debited from your Maybank account.
For deposits to your Tabung Haji account, a 50sen fee will be debited from your Maybank account. Lembaga Tabung Haji also charges a fee of RM1 that will be debited from your Tabung Haji Account.
For education loan repayments to JPA (Pinjaman/Gantirugi), JPA charges a fee of RM1 that will be debited from your Maybank account.
Yes, customer may pay any number of bills at one time.
'Future Payment' let’s customer schedule payments in advance so they will never miss the due date. Just enter the details of payment and select the effective payment date. Their account will be automatically debited on the specified date. Customer will need ensure there are sufficient funds in account.
Customer can also use eStanding Instruction for scheduled fixed-sum payments such as loan payments.
If customer is making an immediate payment, customer will see an 'Unsuccessful' message and a reject code that informs of insufficient funds. If it is a 'Future Payment', customer’s payment will not go through on the scheduled date.
Not all payee corporations process payments daily. Therefore, to avoid late payment, it's best for customer to make payments in advance. Please note that payments made after 12a.m. will only be credited the next working day.
